I am 20 years old. I'm a junior at Cornell University studying Information Science, Political Science, and AI. My work sits at the intersection of technology and humanity — how do we build responsible AI? How do we craft legal frameworks that hold it accountable? And how do we help elect political candidates who can execute on that vision?
When I was in high school, I helped found Encode — the world's first and largest youth-powered movement for safer AI. As VP of Global Chapter Programs and VP of Public Education, I built AI literacy programs in high schools across the country and worked on precedent-setting legislation in the halls of Congress. Now, I serve as a Youth Fellow at The Rithm Project, strengthening human connection in the age of AI. To date, I've spoken at nearly 25 events, ranging from Limerick, Ireland to San Diego, CA, to Orlando, FL.
My summers tell the same story. In 2023, I became the first high school intern for the Illinois Democratic County Chairs Association. In 2024, I worked with State Rep. Daniel Didech to draft the Automated Decision Tools Act. Last summer, I shaped bipartisan messaging and communications strategy for tech policy issues through the Glen Echo Group. And this summer, I'm at Accenture's Center for AI Excellence, helping private sector organizations adapt to the AI economy safely and responsibly.
At Cornell, I founded the Cornell Political Strategy Group, where we've directed political strategy for congressional campaigns in the nation's top races. I also serve as VP of Pre-Professional Programming at my pre-law fraternity, oversee the Environment & Technology Policy division of our school's policy think tank, and work as a senior business analyst at our social impact consulting org. I'm also a research assistant at two labs — the Cornell Brooks Tech Policy Institute, where I study AI's impact on national security, and the JEM Lab for Generative AI, where I focus on AI and the future of work.
For fun, I explore my passion for music through Cornell's premiere South Asian a cappella team, Cornell Tarana.
